Bold Sales Conversations: How to Own Your Value without Feeling Pushy or Salesy

    CCEUs

    CORE 1.0 | Resource 0.5

SALES. For most people, that single word brings on eye-rolls and shudders of distaste. And no wonder! Nearly everyone has been scarred by high-pressure sales tactics. The problem is that when those scars show up in your sales conversations, instead of enrolling clients you’re probably hearing a lot of, “I’ll think about it” or you’re offering discounts just to make the sale. How do you stand firm in your value while staying away from manipulative, intrusive sales tactics? In this talk, Mary Cravets teaches how to break down resistance to sales and get better results by applying a proven method based on respect.

    KEY TAKEAWAYS:

    • Get your hands on a complete sales conversation structure so you can confidently ask to be paid what you’re worth AND empower prospects to feel great about saying yes to your services.
    • Shift old assumptions about sales and learn why those assumptions are so limiting to both you and your prospects.
    • Complete an assessment that reveals exactly how to apply the #1 strategy to decrease stress and increase enrollment.

Mary Cravets is an award-winning Client Generation Expert and International

Speaker who helps people grow their businesses without working nights and

weekends. She’s heard ALL the confusing and conflicting advice out there -

so she isn’t surprised that most business owners struggle to establish a

sustainable business. But she’s here to change that.Using her methods, the

majority of Mary’s clients quickly increase their income 50% or more.

Clients range from the former CFO of Microsoft North America, to coaches in

their first few years of business, to thought-leaders in a variety of service

professions.Mary is also a huge fan of roller coasters, obsessed with otters and

From Adversary to Ally: Coaching the Inner Critic

    CCEU - TBC

From Adversary to Ally focuses on how to coach the inner critic, a common obstacle in coaching practices. No matter what kind of coaching we specialize in, we all encounter that nagging voice inside our heads telling us we’re not measuring up somehow. We feel it firsthand as it stops us from confidently growing our businesses, makes us think we need yet another certification or course, or holds us back from charging our true worth. And it’s not just us—our clients face it too. Whether it’s in their struggles with confidence, battling feelings of being a fraud, or getting stuck in procrastination and confusion.
Despite various tools available, many only provide temporary relief without addressing the root cause. In this session, attendees will learn a process to overcome the negative messages of the inner critic voice. Combining skills of a performing musician with principles of coaching, attendees will learn what’s needed to successfully, sustainably, and predictably train the mind into new more beneficial patterns of thought. There will be client examples to learn from, detailed descriptions of each phase in the process, and a worksheet to help attendees experience the entire method. The four phases of this process are easy to learn and remember.

    Attendees will learn:
What to do when your critical voice shows up.
To recognize the lies it tells and why you believe them.
How to alleviate the suffering caused by negative self-talk.
How to create thoughts that support you.

The power and sustainability of this method come from the depth of understanding and compassion each phase brings to the client. The four phases of this process get to the root of the issues clients are facing and create custom-designed solutions to their custom created blocks. Attendees will discover how affirming with compassion the intention of the inner critic not only allows it to step back, but provides powerful information with which to move forward.

Paul Boehnke, sought after speaker, author and certified life coach helps millennials and business leaders become more effective by clearing the fog of doubt, self-criticism and overthinking that prevents them from realizing their true purpose.

As a classical musician, Paul Boehnke stumbled on a unique process that not only helped his performances but could easily be applied to taming the negative thoughts of his inner critic. Then he realized this process not only works for him but works for everyone, musician or not.

In his book, "Thoughts On Demand: Turn Negative Self-Talk into Unstoppable Confidence" he shares the process that he uses to help clients transform that little voice in their heads that argues for their limitations into a champion of their potential instead.
